FAQCan I book a technician on weekends or after hours?
Yes of course; unlike some of our competitors we operate 24 hours 7 days, however pricing does differ for after hours callouts, please refer to our pricing page for more information.
I need a technician immediately, when is the soonest time someone could come?
Providing a technician is free and not tied up with other jobs, we can have him/her dispatched almost immediately, however if all our technicians are tied up, then we will advise you on the next available time.
Can I request the same technician each time or is a different technician likely to show each time I book a visit?
We try to send out the same technician each and every time you book, in fact sending out the same technician makes his/her job easier as they are already familiar with your system and set up, as a result less time is spent on the job. However on some occasions a given technician may be busy with other jobs, if this is the case we will advise you and give you various options.
How long does an average computer problem take to sort out?
Most computer problems are solved by our mobile technicians within the first hour, however if more time is required, the technician will give you an estimate and explain why the extra time is needed. The technician will also keep you updated on the status of the repairs throughout the visit.
Can all computer problems be solved onsite without my computer being taken away?
The majority of computer problems can be solved onsite by our mobile technicians, however due to the nature of some, for example specialised data recovery, your computer and or equipment may need to be taken away to our workshop then returned at a later time. If this is the case, the technician will advise you of the reasons why, and negotiate a return time with you.
If parts are needed, will the technician have them on hand?
We stock most common computer and laptop parts in our vehicles and in a lot of cases can have the correct part available immediately for you. However some less common parts and special parts which are for certain models will need ordering in. If we do have to order parts, some can be available the same day while others will need shipping in. The technician will advise you of the cost.
